From a story by Raymond Carver, filmed in El Cerrito,CA. Here, a sad man puts his possessions on in his front yard to sell, and two strangers arrive as buyers. They remain, to become part of the tableau. Two sets of relationships here are in a state of transition, in a beautiful, touching film that offers no concrete answers.
